So I have a Rally Car to build! Below is a description of what I currently have sitting around the house/container/bedroom/garage ready to install...

First up is the cage:  installed by Bill at Cagethis.com its a super strong DOM tubing cage built to meet the current RallyCar rules.
Note the sunroof hole... intend of welding it in I've gone the "correct route"  and bought myself a new roof skin from VW... at only 50 bucks I couldn't refuse... more on that later!

Add in some suspension thanks to Chis Duplesis consisting of HotBits DT1 Rally coilers (fancy pants ones with divorced reservoirs and helper springs)  Coupled to a set of Burnmeister front camber plates! To keep the wheels on the road.  The extra fluid in the reservoir ads to the thermal mass of the oil in the shock, ads some more cooling surface area and allows for some other internal tricks to help keep the shocks performing to their max through many many rough events.  The plates are amazing strong and should last a lot longer than the stock strut mounts which are known to fail in one event or less.
 ^not my car^

Ad some powered curtsy of a 1.9L VW TDI oil burner which is made up of
Nural 1mm over pistons with an updated design for better cooling (notice the tube cast into the piston itself, its a neat trick where the oil squirter not only squirts the skirt of the piston but also up INTO the piston to cool the crown. (it goes up a little hole and then runs down around that ring and drains out another hole)

^^Not my piston ;-)

Slightly ported (gasket matched and smoothed) head
OE gaskets and bearings
New oil pump
New water pump
Baffled oil pan
Frozen Boost Air to Water intercooler
Perkins GT25 turbo
Custom 3inch down pipe
Eurosport 2.5" exhaust with single straight through muffler
PP520 nozzles
Aligator chipset for 20PSI of fun

All of this is fed to the ground through:
Spec Stage 3 clutch (6 puck for grip, sprung center to keep the rest of the drivetrain in one piece)
Kaaz clutch type rally differential

Brakes consists of solid disks all around with Hawk race pads
The bias is being controlled by a Willwood valve
Ebrake via a CNC staging brake.

Other fun stuff includes
Light pod with 4 super bright Hella lights (yes my pod)

Sparco Corsa seats
Sparco Intercom
Euro fender flares
Euro rear bumper
Euro front fenders
Big mudflaps
Rally style roof vents
circuit breaker auxiliary circuit protector
and i'm sure a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting.

Next up  Engine bay prep...  one must have a clean bay for easy of service, looks and just basic respect of ones car.
